Life Only Rises

We rise from each fall the rise only stops with death

Photo by Marek Piwnicki on Unsplash

I fell as an infant and froze,
was paralyzed on one side.
I could not walk on my own,
till I was four but slowly did.

My gait never reached normal,
yet I lived life as I could.
Others ran faster but stopped to rest,
I slowly kept on till sunset…
