July’s Second Week Prompt of Lifeline — Journey of Self-Discovery
to awaken to oneself is
a lifelong journey
often we forget who we are
and need to remember
we may have doubts about
decisions we made forgetting the
reason why we made those decisions
at that time
yet when we remember, the
reasons become so much clearer
and we spend less time judging
ourselves
every experience brings more
knowledge
we must see with our minds,
our eyes, our hearts, and our
souls
learning is a wholesome
journey, not half but whole
taking the time to step back
or think ahead may bring
the better answers when
we see entirely as a whole
with our minds — getting all the
information we need to see if
it makes sense or not to go ahead
with our eyes — it looks good, but is it
true or real?
with our hearts — do I want this?
with our souls — it’s okay to…
