Spilling through your silhouette of trees,
find me on this lonely night,
throw your cautious beam across my hands
opened wide to feel
the crackle and spark,
a memory of time
and heat
of love, so true
caught in silver threads
slipping through fingers
to be returned to you.

Spill through the darkened canopy
casting shadows on ancient land,
find my love
upon that shore
carved deep by a river,
passing wide,
ablaze in the molten silver of your beam
lit with the crackle and spark,
a memory of time
and heat
of love, so true,
lifting your silver threads
slipping through fingers
to be returned to me.
