November’s Third Week Prompt Of Lifeline
The Magic of Keeping Your Inner Child Alive
"Every adult is a child deep down. The trick is to channel that childlike wonder into our everyday lives." - Keanu Reeves
When we become adult, we are so much busy in living the life and handling the responsibilities, we forget to keep our inner child alive. We forget to embrace joyful moments in life.
Childrens are a very creative and imaginative. By keeping our inner child alive we can be able to nurture creativity and also helps in creating a fresh perspectives.
By embracing playfulness in adulthood, we can find an escape from the stress of life. It also brings open-mindness and curiosity. Keeping our inner child alive, we can be able to foster a positive outlook towards life.
When we become adult , we tend to ignore the importance of innocence in life. Rediscovering innocence helps in rediscover and appreciate the beauty and magic in everyday life.
Reconnect with your childhood passions, it will bring the aliveness to your life and helps in balancing responsibility with play. Children view the world with a sense of wonder which creates beauty and magic in everyday life.
This week’s prompt is,
Poetry is a great way to reconnect with your inner child. Write a poem describing the delight, innocence, and nostalgia that are evoked when an adult finds a treasured childhood toy and plays with it. Consider how this experience has affected their relationships and current life, incorporating feelings into your poetry.
Let’s look at some of the beautiful creations of poetry shared by Lifeline poets.
