A Christmas Prayer Poem

O Christmas Angel
You are my shepherd
My neighbor is my cane
My friends are the sheep
Kindled by the star of Bethlehem
Together, we roam the valley

O Christmas Angel
Grant me the faith
That I may cherish
That which I dream
And find that which I seek
For the spirited treasure, I share with my brother

O Christmas Angel
Render me the hope this season
That I may believe in your goodness
Be grateful for each day
And understand the gift of life
For I demand not of my neighbor but of myself

O Christmas Angel
Bestow upon me the love
That you resound in song
And gladdens the hearts of children
For the Yuletide wonder vows bright pastures
Touched by your countless blessings are we, O Christmas Angel
