Rolling Right Along

No moss, no loss

Image owned by author, Ilis Trudie Palmer

Sipping on basil
Urged to look up,
Glanced at the clock
111 was the time, seen for the third time
No denying, it was a sign —

To get to moving
A new time and space
A new time in space,
No complaining
The grass losing green, words under quarantine —

It was nice to share
Thoughts and ideas
In stories and poems
Or simply rhyming
Words down a blank page —

Not enough subtlety
The poet in me
Raw and ready
No prisoners taken
If you felt I meant you, you weren’t mistaken —

Always looking
For inspiring ways
To bring forth the message
That comes from The Whole
Offering virtual hugs to lovely souls —

The stone is turning
New grounds are calling
My feet are walking.
