What is Self-discovery Poetry Challenge?
As in the starting of New Year, Lifeline is bringing an opportunity to know more about yourself and look closely at yourself. The very first thing we have to do, to bring change in ourselves is to know ourselves better. To make new resolutions and fulfill them, you first have to know yourself.
Knowing yourself can be a challenging process, but it is a real success.
Why it’s important to know yourself?
It’s important to know because if you want to love yourself, you have to know yourself. You can only love a person if you know the qualities of the person. To become the best version of yourself, this is the first step that you have to make try to discover yourself. When you know who you are, you can accept yourself easily and be confident in who you are. Therefore, Lifeline is giving you a chance to discover yourself through this challenge.
The challenge will start from 15 Jan and run until 9 Feb 2022. Every day you will be given a prompt and you have to think and write about it. Prompts are a great way to bring creativity and imagination. This challenge will give you a chance to write a journal about yourself and make you consistent with your writing. It will be a great opportunity to kick-start your writing journey.
Requirements to participate in Lifeline Poetry Challenge?
I hope you all are ready to do some adventure with Lifeline Self-discovery prompts. Every day you are going to get some deep and thought-provoking prompts that will force you to think and take a deep look at yourself.
- You have to publish 25 poems at Lifeline in response to 25 unique prompts
- In each poem, you have to tag 5 of your poet friends with whom you have a connection with
- You have to add the kicker “Lifeline Poetry Challenge” in each piece you will write for the challenge
- At the end of your poem, you must give a shoutout to Lifeline, and tag me, Sahil Patel
- You also need to add “Lifeline Poetry Challange” as one of your tags while submitting your poem
The special requirement to qualify for this challenge is that every participant has to write a post about how they felt about each prompt that was given to them when they were writing the poem about it and add your 25 poems to the piece. In a nutshell, you have to write your thoughts about the challenge and make a collection post of all your poems that you wrote for the challenge. You have to publish this collection post with another publication except with Lifeline.
You all may be wondering why I want you to write a collection post for your poems! Because it will be easy for all of your readers to read your poem and I also get feedback on how my prompts and this challenge helped you in your self-discovery journey.
In the end, you have to register yourself in the below Google form, so I can count you as a participant in the challenge.
Only fill the form after you submit your final article called “collection of poems” to another pub and confirm your entry to the challenge.
Here’s the link to Google Form.
