may be
a chance to relax in streaming
thoughts of planning another day
while the warmth makes it all better
as you rest in its comforting embrace
a blanket makes you feel secure
keeping out the cold
its touch voices that you are safe
that it’s time to rest your weary head
covering you with the strength of
ground cover that spreads throughout
your day
it blankets your troubles putting them
way under and covered for the time being
making things look brighter upon
awakening
