It’s a beautiful fall season here at the foothills of the Himalayas, and at night the dark blue skies are lit by countless glittering stars.

LifeMaker has found a new home: we have set up a fully dedicated office and community space inside the East-West Ashram of local guru and sage Swami Ji. We’re located in the tiny village of Tang Narwana, about 10km from Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh.

The third weekend of November we’re holding the first official foundation meeting. We’re going to present the work done so far (a promotional video with interviews to many ecological and spiritual activists of the area, plus some wireframes of the app’s prototype) and discuss together the roadmap for the following months.

It will be a great chance to learn more about the LifeMaker project and participate first-hand to its inception!

The meeting will be open to everyone. Along with the core development team and some of the main technical collaborators, there will be a few mentors and experts to moderate the discussion. We’ll have yoga/tai chi sessions in the morning, evening walks and group meditations. We’ll cook and eat together, share our life stories and our dreams for the future. Even if only three-days long, it will be an intense and hopefully life-changing experience for all of us.

Program

Day 1–17/11/2017
Day 2–18/11/2017
Day 3–19/11/2017

How to participate?

Since the accommodation space is limited, if you’re interested and want to attend the meeting please drop a comment below or send us and e-mail at hello@lifemaker.us

There won’t be a fixed entrance fee. Instead, we’ll share the food costs with a magic hat model, where every participant contributes as much as he/she can according to his/her possibility.

What to bring?

Sleeping bag, warm clothes and some fire within!

How to reach?

The village of Tang Narwana is situated some 11,5 km past Dharamsala on the SH 17 road towards Palampur. East-West Ashram is a couple of minutes walking distance from the village center. Just ask anyone for Swami Ji’s home!
