At Picnic, we believe that the best teams are well connected and intrinsically motivated. To ensure that we can keep track of our employee engagement, we use Workleap Officevibe.

Workleap Officevibe is an engagement tool that helps us to take a step back from the daily life within our teams by creating insights in the overall feelings and needs of our people. This powerful tool empowers both our teams and leadership to engage in open, meaningful conversations about team happiness and collaboratively take action to make improvements.

The importance of employee engagement

People are the center of everything we do in Picnic. Employee engagement reflects how passionate our employees are about their roles, their commitment to Picnic’s mission, and their willingness to go above and beyond in their daily work. Engaged teams create a healthy work environment that attracts and retains top talent.

By closely monitoring employee engagement, we identify valuable insights that highlight our strengths and areas for improvement. Exploring the tool: why and how?

Two years ago, we launched Workleap Officevibe. For a young and fast-growing company like Picnic, operating across three countries, we are committed to maintaining the unique core of our culture. We stay closely connected to our employees and we do not shy away from trying out new ideas on how to better our ways of working. This tool stood out from traditional, lengthy annual surveys by offering a simple and effective way to track engagement for our +1000 employees.

Integrated seamlessly with Slack, Workleap Officevibe sends five short, weekly questions to our employees at a moment they can choose. These questions cover ten essential engagement themes, using a scientific approach to gather valuable insights. The platform’s anonymity ensures honest feedback, while custom surveys allow our team leads to tailor questions to specific needs, such as recent team changes or events.

In addition, every employee can send ‘Good Vibes’ to their colleague in the organization. These interactive cards are linked to positive behavior or characteristics to ‘make someone’s day’. Opening a Good Vibe feels just like unwrapping a gift and is definitely one of the top features for our employees.

By integrating Workleap Officevibe into our workflow, we have created an environment where feedback is continuous, it enables us to have even better conversations on a wide array of topics where everyone’s voice is heard.
