As we kick off our new season, we’re excited to introduce the newest co-hosts of LifeSci Beat:

Christian DiGiacomo

Christian is currently a first year Wharton MBA student in the Health Care Management program. Christian comes to Wharton from ZS Associates, where he spent 6 years focused on commercial strategy in the orphan disease and oncology spaces, providing strategic and quantitative recommendations to large pharma and small biotech companies. Prior to ZS, Christian received a BA in Government from Cornell University. At Cornell Christian minored in Business and International Relations, and was a varsity heavyweight rower. Christian is originally from New York City, and has spent time living in multiple cities across the Northeast.

Adhiti Rajesh

Adhiti is excited to dig into the bio-tech and medical device sectors and speak to innovators across the world! Prior to Wharton, Adhiti was a Senior Associate at Strategy& in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Operations group where she focused primarily on operations strategy.

Adhiti is currently pursuing concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics and is extremely interested in the intersection of public policy, entrepreneurship and healthcare. In addition to LifeSci Beat, Adhiti is part of the Pulse Magazine team for the Wharton Healthcare Business Conference, and sits on the boards of Wharton Healthcare Club, Wharton Consulting Club, and Wharton Entrepreneurship Club. She is also a Wharton Impact Venture Associate focused on sourcing early-stage companies (See or Series A financing rounds) that are developing innovative business models and technologies geared towards significant social or environmental impact. Adhiti graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 with a B.Sc. in Economics from the Wharton School and a minor in Chemistry.

Medha Sharma

Medha Sharma is currently an MD/MBA student at the Perelman School of Medicine/Wharton School of Business. Prior to this, she graduated from college in 2018 at Penn and worked in life sciences strategy consulting at ClearView Healthcare Partners, where she worked primarily with biopharmaceutical companies. Her interests within healthcare include dermatology, particularly its intersection with oncology and immunology, and bringing new therapeutics to the bedside in an equitable manner.
