Lighthouse International Group Stands Up To The Tyrannical Bullies At The Daily Mail

Who likes a bully? I’m being serious… who likes a bully? One of my biggest lessons in my time at Lighthouse International Group has been learning what a bully is and how to stand up to them. Along with 1 in 3 adults today, I was bullied as a child and so I am not only writing this post in relation to our situation, but also for every single sensitive man, woman or child who has found themselves being persecuted or pushed about by insecure people seeking significance.

At Lighthouse International Group we have been been on the receiving end of an online smear campaign that has lasted over a year. Our characters and wellbeing have been assassinated through online platforms like Reddit by people who, with only a couple of exceptions, choose to hide behind pseudonyms because they lack the courage in their convictions of the half-truths and blatant lies to put the name to what they write. As a business we have refused to give a small number of ex-clients an unlawful refund and they have decided to join forces with other hateful people to defame us online.

As part of this attempt to destroy us, our livelihoods and by extension, our families, this group of tyrannical trolls decided that it was in the public truth for the Daily Mail to publish a libellous article about us. At the start of the year we were asked for our comment and our response was a 17,000-word rebuttal that was backed up by signed sworn statements from people like Mel Francis and Jack Comer. They would’ve been affidavits if the turnaround time from the Daily Mail had not been so short. Weeks passed, then months, and we thought that the article wasn’t even going to be published.

We were wrong and despite our extensive response, the article was published without even consulting us further. It was full of bias and prejudice. Right from the start we were accused of things like being a ‘Trendy Life Coaching Company’… seriously?!? Even reading the title was ridiculous and reading the article was like reading about a different group of people. So within the space of 24 hours of the article being published, our senior Associate Partners came together to discuss and dissect the article word-by-word. It was an article based on hearsay with our response largely ignored and at times even mocked! Right there is the work of a bully.

We have publicly broadcasted the video footage of the Senior Associate Partner meeting that lasted 5 hours. It was the start of the Waugh Rooms and was certainly not what the Daily Mail or our trolls were expecting!

So now, a week later, we have a situation where the Daily Mail has approached us telling us they plan to write a second follow-up article designed to defame us once again. This time they gave us an even shorter timeframe; by 5pm on the same day! As individuals, a community and a business we have decided that we will not play the Daily Mail’s game.

Coincidently when we received the email from Tom Kelly at the Daily Mail, Paul Waugh and Chris Nash were literally about to sit down to record the next edition of the Waugh Rooms. Therefore we decided that we would film a response for Tom Kelly, the Daily Mail and our trolls to be published before he can even think about publishing another libellous article.

Mr Kelly, you’ve received it personally via email, but here’s our reply for the world to see before you can get your story out!

As you’ll see, at Lighthouse International Group we are committed to reality and truth, not hearsay or ‘he-said, she-said’ nonsense! Ironically in the name of being ‘bastions for good’, of protecting the innocent, the Daily Mail is actually exposing incredibly sensitive and personal information about individuals we have worked with directly or indirectly.

Those persecuting us have decided to throw stones at us when they have very fragile glasshouses. We really feel for those involved. The Daily Mail is only concerned about selling more papers and those making accusations against us will be left out to dry as the truth will come out in the media and/or court. We didn’t want this to happen, our persecutors have invited this onto themselves and they will inevitably bear the consequences in the cause and effect world we live in.

Lastly, after all this, I will say that many people, like the trolls, will think they are destroying us through this article. The opposite, however, is actually true. Whilst responding to the online trolling and these Daily Mail articles has cost us greatly in the short term, what it’s actually doing is helping us to attract and qualify those good-hearted people we can and will work with. The last year has categorically taught us that when we do business with those of an unhealthy pathology, they will turn on us and get nasty when things don’t go their way. We have tremendous intentions (which we’re also mocked for) and we have to bring together the right people in the right number to do the right things in order to achieve the right results. We can confidently say that the psychodemographic of those we want to work with don’t read the Daily Mail!

So this is what groundswell is all about; helping good-hearted, sensitive souls come together to find their voice and stand up to the tyranny from bullies like the Daily Mail and anyone who decides it’s okay to break down others in order to gain a sense of personal significance. We will not stand for that and we’re inviting others to stand with us.
