Be Willing To Try Something New, Outside the Box Thinking Will Save Us All
Finding hope in the small things
Are you the person set in their ways, unwilling to change?
I’ve been riding mountain bikes for over 30 years. It’s a pastime I’ve always enjoyed because it gets me outside into the woods.
I’d been hesitant to ride an electric mountain bike because I thought it was cheating. How is that getting exercise?
Well, I road one a few months back and the smile I had on my face lasted for days.
What I didn’t realize is you still have to peddle the bike. The motor just assists you when needed. I spent years looking down on these bikes, and it turns out it was the most fun I’ve had riding in decades.
My story’s point is never to be afraid to change your ways. Stay up on current trends and technology. No, it’s not cheating when things get easier; you are only hurting yourself by not jumping in and experimenting.
Like with the bike, you still have to put the work in. But, it just may change the way you do things.
So, pick up that new book on management, talk to your folk about changes coming in technology. Then, see how you can integrate this into your business and make changes for the better.
