Lightning Bitcoin (LBTC) is a fully decentralized Internet-of-value protocol for global payments. The specific applications include peer-to-peer transactions and exchange platforms. Any users that operates on the LBTC protocol can enjoy instant, secure and nearly free global financial transactions.

Lightning Bitcoin’s on-chain governance system enables LBTC holders to vote for the blockchain improvements, while the delegates maintain the network as Lightning Nodes. It solves the problems of centralization of bitcoin by incorporating all participants in the Lightning Bitcoin ecosystem into the decision-making process.

To enrich payment scenarios and achieve organizational ecology, we are taking the way that spans time and space, and however is full of obstacles. Nevertheless, we are very confident in achieving the goal. During the early stage of development, the LBTC team treated source code as a priority. As a result, the mainnet is running smoothly now which enables a fast transaction speed.

Now, we want to take an essential step on the road of achieving our ultimate goal. After considering the further development of LBTC ecosystem, we have decided to disclose our LBTC addresses. Furthermore, we invite everyone in the community to have a look and supervise the list. Do not hesitate to discuss and ask questions:

(1) Holding Rules

To develop the Lightning Bitcoin ecosystem, we took coins from inactive addresses, the total amount of 2,720,235 LBTC. An inactive address is referred to as an address that did not have any transactions or has less than 1 bitcoin transferred accumulated since January 31st, 2013. Also, we reserve the right of holding the LBTCs from these inactive addresses. The owners of inactive addresses can claim their LBTCs back before December 31st, 2020. Starting in 2019, unclaimed amount of LBTC will be used for building the LBTC ecosystem.
