Lights on Women: The Latin American and Caribbean Edition
FSR Lights on Women partners with the Inter-American Development Bank to shine a light on the women of Latin America and the Caribbean.

In the framework of the Energy Week of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in Uruguay, the Florence School of Regulation and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) are proud to launch the Lights on Women LAC Edition and join forces to shine a light on the women working in the Latin American and Caribbean energy sector.
The Lights on Women initiative is a platform through which we partner and consult with a diverse array of women in the energy industry, policy, and academia to build their online professional profiles.
The Lights on Women LAC Edition will spread the spotlight on the women working in the Latin American and Caribbean energy sector to increase the visibility of women’s expertise, publications, projects, and achievements to the broader energy community.
Under the partnership, the Florence School will work with the IDB to strengthen the Lights on Women network and to welcome the women of Latin America and the Caribbean to our growing global community. We will kick off the partnership by creating and disseminating written and video interviews, blog articles, podcasts and newsletters. We will also aim to create a public database of women working in the sector detailing their expertise and sharing worldwide as a go-to resource for improving gender balance.

FSR Lights on Women se asocia con el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo para iluminar a las mujeres de América Latina y el Caribe.
En el marco de la Semana de la Energía de América Latina y el Caribe (LAC) en Uruguay, la Escuela de Regulación de Florence y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) se enorgullecen de lanzar la edición Lights for Women LAC Edition y unen sus fuerzas para hacer brillar una luz sobre las mujeres que trabajan en el sector energético latinoamericano y caribeño.
La iniciativa Lights on Women es una plataforma a través de la cual nos asociamos y consultamos con una amplia gama de mujeres de la industria de la energía, la política y el mundo académico para desarrollar sus perfiles profesionales en línea.
La edición de Lights on Women LAC se centrará en las mujeres que trabajan en el sector energético de América Latina y el Caribe para aumentar la visibilidad de la experiencia, las publicaciones, los proyectos y los logros de las mujeres en la comunidad energética en general.
En virtud de la asociación, la Escuela Florence trabajará con el BID para fortalecer la red de Lights on Women y dar la bienvenida a las mujeres de América Latina y el Caribe a nuestra creciente comunidad global. Iniciaremos la asociación creando y difundiendo entrevistas escritas y en video, artículos de blogs, podcasts y boletines informativos. También crearemos una base de datos pública de mujeres que trabajen en el sector, detallando su experiencia y compartiéndola en todo el mundo como un recurso para mejorar el equilibrio de género.
