Love & Stories
A friend of mine once told me about an out of body experience she had,
She said to me that she had met a man above the cosmos of Earth,
She met a man not of stature, but of humbleness,
She met a man not of looks, but of heart,
She met an old man,
A smiling man,
A dead man.
She met Jesus.
My friend knew exactly who it was before they even spoke a word,
And they didn’t.
With outstretched arms they showed my friend the Earth,
Everything that lives on it,
They showed the light that glowed and connected everything together,
Everything was love.
My friend knew in that moment that everything in life is connected by love,
Every life on this Earth is a story being told.
Love & Stories is what makes up our lives.
Peace is not the opposite of war, peace is a byproduct,
Love is the opposite of war.
And that is why revenge…
Is a cycle.
We might think we want war, we might think we want revenge,
I promise you,
You don’t.
Love is the only thing we get in this life,
And if we are lucky,
We use that love to tell our stories.
Love & Stories are Life.
