Rejection Sensitivity

Have you ever been,
In love with someone,
For who they are,
But hate them
For how they abandon you,
Time and time and time again?

Or is that just life,
And I just have a terrible knack,
Of missing the point of everything,
Puppet to rejection sensitivity.

I don't know the answers,
I don't know the lesson,
All I know is,
I'm stuck.
