One of the most exciting partnerships we’ve established is with Iris AI — an international startup which aims to change researchers’ incentives, and improve scientific content, making it more transparent, accountable and widespread in society.
Their products are tools aimed specifically at researchers in the early phase of a new project. They are especially suitable for interdisciplinary projects where the combination of knowledge from across a range of research fields will be vital to the project’s success.
Project Aiur
Their recent Project Aiur aims at making Science belong to everyone through blockchain technology by collaborating to build a “Knowledge Validation Engine”(KVE). Based on AI and machine learning technology, this machine can take a piece of research and have it checked up against all other research in the world. The AIUR token enables membership, voting rights and access to the KVE and other tools developed on top of the community’s software, and will be available in an ICO, launching soon. Seventy-five percent of the funds will be allocated to the community itself. The AIUR token sale will target approximately USD 12.38 million, with a minimum for completion of 60 percent and a hard cap of 500 percent.
