On September 17, 2019, Lincoln American University (LAU), in collaboration with Sharda University, organized Student Welcome and Orientation Ceremony for students starting Pre-Medical & NEET Coaching Program (2019) organized by LAU in India at School of Medical Sciences & Research (SMSR) of Sharda University.

Lincoln American University offers a 5-Year MD Physician Program which is equivalent to MBBS Program in India. The first-year of the 5-Year course is Pre-Medical Program which takes one year to complete and comprise of 90 credit hours. For students who have qualified National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET), Pre-Medical Program is organized at LAU’s Campus in Georgetown city of Guyana, South America. For students who are yet to qualify NEET, the Pre-Medical Program is organized in India.

At SMSR, along with the Pre-Medical Program in India, NEET Coaching is also provided to help the students prepare for NEET attempt. On weekdays, Pre-Medical classes are held while coaching for NEET is organized on weekends. Pre-Medical education also helps the students qualify NEET in an easy way due to the similarity of the syllabus.

In one year, students are well prepared to qualify Pre-Medical as well as NEET. After successful completion of the Pre-Medical & NEET Coaching Program, students are flown to Guyana Campus, where they start the second year of the Medical Program, i.e., the first year of the MD Program that begins with Basic Sciences.
