I watched a video clip of a Trump fan-girl explaining why she’s voting for him again. The first time she voted for him because she didn’t “like” Hillary. But this time, she’s voting for Trump enthusiastically.
She’s everything you’d expect, and a bit you might not. White. Middle age. Middle class. Soccer mom. She’s also a big social influencer, on a mission to convince her followers to go vote for Trump’s America.
She said she knows he’s rude. Vile, sometimes. Self centered. And she doesn’t care. His “manners” aren’t the point, she said. His “policies” are.
He’s the one talking about keeping her neighborhood safe, she said. He talks about justice and order and police enforcement. That’s important to her. Those protests were scary. Biden didn’t say anything about sending out the police or the military to keep the streets safe. Only Trump did.
Donald Trump is focused on the economy and taking care of Americans, she said. And when he picked Amy Coney Barrett, he proved that Christian values are important to him. So she’s proudly voting for Trump’s America.
