How to acquire LINA

Acquiring LINA

Before using our platform and the services we offer, users have to be holders of our native token, LINA. Despite LINA being listed on over 10 exchanges such as FTX or KuCoin, we’ll be providing a walkthrough on how to buy LINA from Binance.

Step 1: Registering an account

Using your website or mobile app, register an account using your email or phone number. There will be an intermediary security verification puzzle to complete. Then, depending on which one you used, you will need to enter a verification code that is either sent through SMS or email. After that, you will have successfully opened a Binance account!

Step 2: Further security

However, there are additional security identification documents that are required to unlock higher withdrawal and deposit limits. Different residential regions may have varying requirements. With this account being in Hong Kong, only personal information, government ID and facial recognition is necessary to unlock the first verification level.

Be aware that verification is not instant and will take a number of days to be reviewed. It’s also recommended to enable 2FA (2-factor authentication) to add an additional layer of protection to your funds.

Step 3: Funding your wallet

Once everything has been approved, it’s time to deposit funds into your account. If you have an existing crypto wallet with funds that you’d like to transfer, navigate to the ‘Deposit’ page as seen below which can be found under the ‘Wallet’ dropdown menu.

Select the appropriate coin and network which will then provide you with a QR code and address. From your crypto wallet, scan the code or manually input the address, ensure the network matches, and transfer your money.

Alternatively, you may also buy Crypto through other channels such as P2P (peer to peer), bank deposit or credit cards. Full guides on how to can be found on Binance FAQs.

Step 4: Purchasing LINA

The last thing to do is purchase LINA. Go to the markets tab and search “LINA” in ‘All Cryptos’.

Enter the page which will take you to the page shown below. On the right-hand side is where you will fill in the information for your buy order. Set the price and amount you would like to buy LINA at, confirm your order, and wait for it to be executed!
