Blockchain game developer Biscuitlabs launched the Japanese version of Knight Story, a LINE Blockchain-based mobile RPG game, on September 30.

Knight Story is a mobile RPG game that leverages blockchain technology. Players become knights and team up with pets as they battle and collect materials to create various equipment and strengthen themselves. The game uses blockchain technology that allows players to own items and trade them with other players.
Combine over seventy types of materials like wood and copper and transform them into over two hundred items, such as swords, bows, armor, and rings. Each item has four stats (attack, defense, durability, and luck) and by upgrading the items, players can immerse themselves in this extensive game.

This game was built on LINE blockchain because LINE is the communication app most familiar to Japanese users, with over 84 million monthly active users in Japan.
In addition, by leveraging blockchain, all in-game items become NFTs (non-fungible token) generated on the blockchain. This allows players to own their items with their BITMAX wallet and trade/sell them to their friends.
