“LINE Virtual Recruitment Program for Junior Developer” is a fast-track selection process designed for passionate young developers (front-end, back-end, and full-stack) with under 2 years of work experience.
The program is aimed for developer talents who have strong passion to become a Solution Engineer with LINE Thailand. If you want to challenge yourself and leverage your knowledge to create impact on more than 50 million LINE users in Thailand, we would like to invite you to our “LINE Virtual Recruitment Program for Junior Developer” and be a part of our growing team!
What does LINE Thailand’s Engineering Team do?
With 50 million LINE users in Thailand (covering 95% of all smartphone users), LINE Thailand’s Engineering Team is dedicated to building a variety of excellent services and applications to bring convenience, efficiency, and fun to the lives of Thai users. Our vision is not only to make LINE indispensable to our users’ lives, but also to provide services in all areas, such as B2B services (e-Commerce platform, Business Platform for LINE Official Accounts, etc.) and content services (LINE Melody, LINE Today, etc.).
With our e-Commerce product and & services, we are building upon Thai users’s preference and behavior to leverage LINE & social media as their own direct to consumer channels, which has previously allowed Thai businesses to be founded and scaled on the same playing field as global brands, creating the e-commerce market since when smartphones were adopted.
As Thailand is the pioneer in social commerce globally, you will be building the foundation and future trend of what social commerce will become, working with local teams to solve unique Thai user needs like chat & shop, while leveraging global technologies and platforms and social graph to create a unique service that empowers competition in the market, supporting local businesses, creating new jobs, and providing end users with enjoyable shopping experience through bonds with their favorite merchants & close social circle.

Application & Selection Timeline
1 - 31 July: Online application submission period
4 August: Announcement of shortlisted candidates for technical assignment
4 - 7 August: Technical assignment period
11 August: Announcement of shortlisted candidates for interview
20–21 August or 27–28 August: 2-day interview event (you will be invited to join the interview on either 20–21 or 27–28 August)
End of August: Announcement of successful candidates
When am I expected to join LINE?
- New Graduates with No Prior Experience: September
- Experienced Candidates: October
What do we expect from your CV/resume?
- Your tech stack: List the platforms, software, language you know how to use.
- Projects you have worked on: Tell us about the projects, your technical contributions, and impacts of the projects.
- Community contribution: Put the link of your open source (Github and others, if any) in your CV/Resume where we can learn more about you.
- Other IT accomplishments: Tell us about the time you participated in tech contests (e.g., Hackathons), developed digital tools or web platforms as your hobby, or any other accomplishments!
- Extra courses: No worries if you have no working experience. You can share us in details about your offline or online courses that you attended to show your technological passion.
