Difficulties

Entering the United States, Initially I truly felt something strange. I mean, there are a lot of different things between the USA and China, such as the food, the living style, and probably even the studying style. In fact, these kinds of problems have bothered me for a lengthy period of time, and even now I still cannot completely overcome them. For example, previously in high school, the classes are very tight — — we actually had nine classes per day. However, entering the university in the United States, the class schedule looks pretty loose and comfortable. I can get much more spare time compared to studying in high school. But this is actually one of the most important difficulties: it’s really hard to prepare a good way of self-study. After class, I just lost my direction during the first month.

Fortunately, after the messy first month, I made huge progress. By making a reasonable plan, I finally figured out what I should do each day. Just filling in the plan carefully, I could really gain much knowledge. For now, I believe that I have totally overcome this essential problem.

What’s more? The food in the dining hall looks extremely awful for me. Maybe I just cannot have a good adaptation to American life style. The food that American people usually have just does not seem attractive to me, especially those eggs and mushrooms. Unfortunately, this issue remains unsolved currently. I hope I can figure out a great solution to this issue in the near future.
