Every coin has two sides, so does being an international student. From my perspective, international students truly have some advantages when compared to local students in foreign country. Firstly, we have already mastered one or several languages aside from English, which is often the only language that local students understand before going to the college. Additionally, although it is challenging to study and live in a completely unfamiliar environment, we are able to develop our personal skills and achieve better performance due to the greater pressure, which forces us to focus on fulfilling our goals.

On the other hand, comparing to local students in our home country, we have more opportunities to meet people with various cultural backgrounds. Moreover, we can get access to much more high quality academic resources with different styles of education. Most importantly, when we complete our university degrees or abroad programs, we will be more competitive in our future career because of the good education background, great language skills, and vast experiences.

All in all, being an international student not only help us better achieve academic goals, but also enables us to broaden our horizon and rich our experiences, therefore making our future life more convenient and wonderful.
