In February 2016, Link2Lift partnered with the Palau Association, located in Portland, Oregon, to unlock ideas on how to best leverage their 32000 sq. foot building. Link2Lift was invited to be a think-partner on how to best work towards this goal of a collaborative headquarters. After the Palau Association staff settled into the newly designed workspace, Link2Lift was able to identify 12,000 sq. feet of underutilized space that could be repurposed to bring together like-minded organizations.

Our team used Link2Lift’s Common Good Collaborator to explore and create a customized model for the Palau Association to build a intentional and thriving community, implement best practices and provide ongoing support as they developed their space. As a result, the Palau Link Center was born.

Throughout our research, we have determined that nonprofits across the United States all have the same need for collaborative office spaces to address weariness and isolation. We understand the unique struggles and concerns that nonprofits face and were able to strategically accomplish the Palau Link Center’s goals and overcome some of those challenges together.

On June 28, 2018 Luis Palau headquarters and Palau Link Center Open House was a huge success with Chick-fil-A providing food for the 200 friends in attendance. It was great to have Doug Frazier from US Digital Outreach present as they were a key partner in realizing this vision.

If you have property you would like to convert into a shared space and dedicate a portion to common good, we would love to chat with you.

“Countless connections and opportunities have opened because of sharing office space and cross-pollinating with the Palau team and other like-minded nonprofits. Sheri Lozano re-purposes office space into area that is appealing, versatile, and conducive for social interaction. Her vision for this project was well-grounded in practical realities, and she was able to deliver a superior product well-below market prices. I would highly recommend Sheri Lozano to any business or ministry looking to transform square footage into opportunity.”
