Recapping Yesbit’s 3rd place finish at the 2018 Founder World Championships
This past weekend Yesbit, the parent company to Linkcoin was invited to the ‘2018 Founder World Championship”. The event was a resounding success and Yesbit was able to introduce itself to over 5,000 blockchain venture capitalists, 1000 global blockchain projects, 100 first-line investors, and 100 panelists & speakers. It was a opportunity that yielded a great deal of exposure for Yesbit and we cannot thank the FWC team, and its sponsors enough.
Yesbit was represented by its CEO & Founder Blues Jian. The audience was able to hear first hand how Blues and the rest of the Yesbit team aim to improve the blockchain ecosystem by building a suite of decentralized applications. Giving users a wide range of investment products that all leverage the network security and efficiencies of distributed ledger technologies.
After a competitive weekend filled with Q&A’s, demo’s and debates the judges finally reached a conclusion and Yesbit placed third in the entire competition! With such a diverse list of blockchain startups under consideration, judging the competition was no easy endeavour. However, the lone commonality across their decision making was that judges were looking for applicability, relevance, and use-cases that fill an immediate need. Some of the weekends most buzzing projects were SEAL, a public blockchain focusing on secure asset-transaction, TiiQu, a project trying to digitize physical identification-cards by creating the first ever immutable “digtal passport” that will be stored on a blockchain. Lastly of course was Yesbit, whose decentralized derivatives platform brings them one step closer to their ultimate goal of creating a one-stop-shop blockchain ecosystem where users can buy cryptocurrency, purchase investment products, and make fiat-exits all within Yesbit’s blockchain ecosystem.
Beyond the immediate exposure that Yesbit garnered from the event, this was a invaluable opportunity to network with new & like-minded start-ups. The whole Yesbit team is looking forward to expanding on these newly minted relationships and seeing what collaborative opportunities lie ahead!
