This article is for Linked Helper 1.

Linked Helper 1 is outdated and was replaced by Linked Helper 2. You can find it here https://www.linkedhelper.com/

Linked Helper 2 knowledge base is available here https://linkedhelper.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

So let’s assume you need to reach out to marketing directors in tech industry in a certain area. How do you get their email addresses if LinkedIn doesn’t allow you to view contact information for 2nd and 3rd level connections?

We will do it with Linked Helper and Snov.io and break this task down into 3 parts:

1. Extracting people’s data

2. Extracting companies’ data

3. Extracting emails using Snov.io

Part 1: Extracting people’s data.

1.1. In Linked Helper choose Profile Extractor

1.2. Collect your 2nd and 3rd connections

1.3. Run the extracting functions as normal.

Wait until Linked Helper completes the extraction:

1.4. Proceed to the Export tab and download your csv file.

1.5. Open it in Excel to check what information it contains. Make sure you follow this algorithm to correctly open a csv in Excel

Because they are your 2nd and 3rd, the column “Email” is empty now.

However, we have the column “Organization 1 URL” with links to companies’ pages. These are current places of work for your target. Right mouse click and copy them.

Part 2: Extracting companies data

2.1. In Linked Helper go to “Companies extractor”

2.2. Create a new list “CMO NY”

2.3. Open View collected and click “Upload profile URLs”

2.4. Now paste links you copied as described above and click “Import”

2.5. Run the Companies Extractor and wait until it has finished.

When it’s completed, go back to Profile extractor and repeat step 1.4. Yes, we need to export a csv with people data again. The point is that in addition to company pages you’ll now find a column named “Organization domain” next to each organization.

2.6. All we need to do now is to keep columns “First name”, “Last name” and “Organization 1 domain” as columns A, B and C respectively and delete all others. You MAY keep more columns here, like for example links to people’s profiles and their IDs or the column with Location. But they must be placed AFTER columns A, B,C

The ultimate file must look like this:

Part 3: Extracting emails with Snov.io

Snov.io is an email finder which can work even you don’t install it as Chrome extension but online.

3.1. Open Snov.io website and choose “Tools” at the top bar and then “Emails from names”

3.2. Choose your 3-column csv and click “Upoad”

3.3. Click “Open List”

3.4. Then click “Find emails” and wait until it’s checked all possible emails. In green you’ll see verified emails, in yellow- potential emails for that person

3.5. Finally, you can export the list with emails. Just click “Download List” and choose your mode, un-tick the columns you don’t need in the file
