Education is a crucial part of most children’s life. Attending school until they do a test in order to go to university, and then work up to a job. However, is this really alright? Since school was created in 1837, how has it changed? For the better, or for the worse.

Well to cut the story short, most of it hasn’t changed at all. Obviously time has allowed for better technology, and with more advanced technology, schools have been updated. Except for that, the standard teaching method hasn’t changed, with one primary teacher talking, along with the students sitting in silence, and slowly being fed information. Right now, they way we educate students are the same as we did in the past. In the past, most students would grow up and work for factories, where the atmosphere was identical to a classroom. However, now days, with jobs needing more creativity and innovation, how will we progress as a species? We won’t. Without more ideas, we won’t create more efficient ways to pass down information, and teaching right now, is in need of some changing.

Maybe some ways we can change school, is by motivation. With the teachers more willing to go to work each day. As a saying goes, “A good doctor can save a life, while a good teacher can change a life.” If a teacher reaches the student’s heart, and alters their mindset, maybe this student, can go on to create or invent, something that will surprise the world. As followed along by this saying, doctors in our society, is valued more than a teacher, while it should be the complete opposite way around. Teachers, are what educate our next generation.

Overall, education isn’t at it’s best shape. Maybe it’ll change after many years of proper thinking and planning. Hopefully, many generations to come, will experience the proper way of teaching.
