Linnia’s mission is to enable developers to Web3.0. Our focus is delivering Web3.0 tools to all application developers, with no assumption of previous blockchain experience.

Linnia enables web2.0 application developers to securely store and share data using decentralized storage technologies and access Ethereum blockchain smart contracts without having to learn the intricacies of these new emerging technologies.

Simple Linnia Workflow

Linnia stack consists of 3 layers:

- Linnia Smart Contracts: Handle the permissions of decentralized data

- Linnia-JS: A Javascript SDK that enables web2.0 developers to start utilizing web3.0 technologies with their current knowledge base of Javascript/Web2.0.

- Linnia-Box: Linnia-Box is based on the truffle-box idea to quickly give developers a working starter application that utilizes all of the Linnia core functions. Developers can take Linnia-box and build the next DropBox, Instagram, LastPass… Endless possibilities

Because IPFS does not offer index searching, Linnia has introduced a server component to allow meta-data queries to find relevant data stored on IPFS.

- Linnia-server: This component provides a meta-data search to enable querying data stored on decentralized storage.

The Linnia team will be releasing the SDK and Linnia-Box in Q3 2018.

To get started you can checkout the Linnia smart contracts at https://github.com/ConsenSys/Linnia-Smart-Contracts

The contracts has been deployed to the Ropsten testnet: https://ropsten.etherscan.io/address/0xc39f2e4645de2550ee3b64e6dc47f927e8a98934
