Development Update Feb 17th 2023
With our beta finally in the hands of our testers, you might think that most design work is done. It actually means the opposite, we have some great input from the beta group that calls for design changes and we have a ton of wallet integrations coming up. Today I would like to ‘leak’ some of those preliminary designs and of course update on what we are doing.
Swap
The swap integration is coming along nicely. We are at a stage where we are intensively testing the functionality before releasing it to the public. We can already tell you that Linx will give you a chainless experience in swap, but it can also give the best bang for your buck, which we can tease in an example in the image above. This is not simply ‘another’ swap, this is a DEX aggregator, the first and only on Kadena, or simply said a swap balancer that balances your swap across multiple exchanges to get the best possible return. And it is scale proof, meaning, no matter how many exchanges come or go, Linx Swap is ready and will always be your best option. (disclaimer: swap example shows results including all fees involved)
Indexing
We are also hard at work at creating an amazing indexing solution, and we are building it in such a way that it might just become an open source solution that we can build out together and help everyone in the ecosystem. A great indexing solution is something that can accelerate growth of the ecosystem and can save tremendous amounts of work for new projects, as we have said many times. Of course it is a difficult thing to decide if you should share intellectual property that might give you an advantage over possible ‘competition’, but if we can’t grow we will all end up dead in the water.
This month leaks… NFT’s in app
As a designer I love to show some things that I am working on, and collect some first reactions. At the moment there is no mobile/wallet support for NFT’s on Kadena so we decided to bring your NFT’s to mobile and to your Linx Wallet. Managing, viewing, minting and trading all from within your Linx Wallet. Not just another marketplace, but more like we approach the swap, an aggregator for NFT’s including all marketplaces and ALL NFT’s on the Kadena network (even Colorblock).
