This week it is my turn again to share some exciting stuff… As Floppie said in the last week’s article, we are working together with KDLaunch to integrate their platform in Linx, and I can share some first designs.

But first an update on the current development status of Linx.

Transaction history is pretty much finished, which was our last milestone for the beta launch. Coming days we are doing some extreme testing and stress testing in-house, so we expect to launch the beta next week.

KDLounge

Last week we had a great sitting with Alfonso from KDLabs on a KDLounge episode. If you would like to learn a bit more about us and Linx, the episode is dropping very soon. I have to be honest, this was a first one for all of us, so I was a bit nervous but we had a great time.

KDLaunch

Since a couple of months we have been in contact with the team from KDLabs, and this has been a really pleasant experience so far and I think we get along really well.

So we decided to see where we can work together and bring innovation to the Kadena network.

We already are implementing swaps for all exchanges (which is going to be game changing on its own), so naturally the first thing to cooperate on is integrating KDLaunch in Linx. We believe that a good mobile experience is key in bringing in new users and onboard the masses. I can imagine a user reading somewhere about an IDO on Kadena. Being able to quickly download a mobile app (Linx), buy Kadena with Apple Pay or Google Pay or credit card instantly and immediately join the IDO of choice without having to leave the app, would be a game changing experience.

So it’s on me to come up with nice designs for this. First thing I always do is getting a thorough picture of the complete process, look at every step and understand what is going on to translate into a fluid and pleasant user experience. This meant having a lot of calls with Radu and Floppie but also the guys from KDLaunch to understand the process.

We are expecting to finalize the integration in Q1 of this year.

Here are some of the designs I would like to share, please keep in mind these are preliminary designs with ‘fake’ data, it’s just to get an idea of where we are going with this.

KDLaunch IDO

Quickly explore KDLaunch IDO’s, see what’s new, read more about and participate in one directly from your Linx app.

KDLaunch Staking

Quickly Stake KDL, manage and start earning rewards directly from your Linx app.

And remember, design is key in Web3!
