There are more content creators than ever. If you ask today’s kids, many of them want to become one themselves. But being successful at it is no easy task. There are three key challenges that today’s creators face:

  1. Growing an audience
  2. Being dependent on a platform
  3. Monetizing their work

(I wrote about those in more detail here.)

There are various tools that help creators and publishers with those challenges. Among the most well-known ones are Patreon, Buy Me a Coffee, or Memberful. Those are all very useful tools, to be clear.

But when we started building LT Fan Platform, our team was convinced that the possibilities of web3 technology and its ethos of decentralization and more ownership for creators and users alike, could be utilized to create a better solution (I explained this here):

  • Giving more control and ownership to creators and users alike
  • Making it easy to create flexible digital offerings, ranging from subscriptions, to micropayments and virtual goods
  • Bridging the gap between publishing and community participation

As one of the co-founders, I’m certainly biased butstill would like to give you a quick rundown of what we are building and why we think it’s special.

What’s LT Fan Platform?

It’s a no-code web3 content and community management system with built-in tools to power every creator’s independent business. You can best think of it as a digital one-stop-shop for your fans and super-fans where you can create and offer free and premium content as well as community interactions. And it comes with all the tools to build your independent digital business with ease.

To achieve this, we use, among other things, web3 technology: your platform comes out of the box with your own creator token and allows you to easily mint NFTs. Sounds complicated? Well, we work hard to make it as easy to use as possible for both creators and their fans. We don’t build software for an elite group of web3 and crypto-savvy creators. Rather, we aim to make the tools and mechanisms of web3 accessible to everyone who can operate a CMS and navigate an app.

Interested in a quick overview of how LT Fan Platform works and what it can do for you? I’ve got you covered. Let’s start with the basics.

Premium Publishing

You can create any content-based experience you envision. Publish text, video, audio, or images and integrate all your social media content seamlessly.

Our sophisticated access management meets even complex business demands. Go free, freemium, or premium with ease: make your content available for free, for subscribers, put it behind a tokenwall, or grant access based on NFTs a user owns.

Easily manage who can enter your content how in Fan Platform Manager.

Importantly, that means you are not bound to sell subscriptions. While subs are a great business model which we power as well, they are not the right fit for every creator or publisher. LT Fan Platform gives you and your fans more flexibility and freedom.

Your fan platform can be accessed from any browser and is, of course, optimized for mobile and desktop. Optionally you can even have your own native apps.

Build a Community, not just an Audience

To be successful in today’s creator economy, it’s no longer enough to have an audience, you need a community. That’s why LT Fan Platform combines publishing with social features that give your community an engaging way to participate, curate, and grow with you.

Crowdsource fresh ideas, co-create new content and experiences, and give your fans more ways to interact with you. Or even give your superfans more impact and influence in your “personal metaverse”.

Your Fans. Your Platform.

Your brand is front and center: thanks to our no-code customizer, custom CSS, and our selection of themes, you can style your platform to fit your look.

And last but not least: unlike with many other platforms, you get all the data and you even own the business relationship with your fans. In short, your fans are yours truly.

Now it’s time to dive into the web3 aspect of things.

Your Own Creator Token

Your fan platform runs on your own creator token. With those, fans can unlock exclusive content and NFTs, vote, and curate across the platform. You can give out free token rewards, sell a-la-carte token packs or token subscriptions, and even give out sponsored tokens with your advertisers or sponsors.

NFTs with Utility

Mint your own image or video NFTs in minutes. Unlike many other digital goods, say streamed content or skins in a game, NFTs can be owned by the user. Yet unlike files, they can not be copied but only transferred. Thanks to those properties, you can create your own unique or limited edition digital items.

Those can of course be cool art or collector items in their own right. But what we consider one of the clues of LT Fan Platform is that you can additionally give your NFT-based items real utility. For example. you can grant NFT owners access to special content, ask-me-anythings, votes, and more. All this is integrated into an intuitive user experience, so you don’t have to send your fans from app to app.

You also have different options to distribute your NFTs: via free or sponsored giveaways (“airdrops”), as an automated reward for certain user actions, or sold in various modes.

No Crypto Needed

Our team is full of crypto enthusiasts. But your fans and followers might not be. That’s why we created a web3 solution that is as easy to use as every app you know. That convenience starts at sign-up and continues until payments: your users won’t need cryptocurrency — so even Grandma can buy your NFT.
