I've been thinking about all the social media rules during my morning walks lately. Over on X Twitter, I received a reply to a post about a new dislike button feature.
At first, I thought it was bad, but a user told me no. It’s to make the X Twitter algorithm know more about what you like to keep on your feed.

Meta recently loosened their rules on hate speech by introducing community notes, something X users have had for the last 2 years.
Many people were banned from Facebook, and even business pages were caught up in the bots and crosshairs of Facebook and Instagram.
It was hard to understand the rules and why these bans occurred. Some were interpretations by AI of images, as I learned on my own Facebook page a few years ago.
And then there was the Meta sexting scandal last week. Is sexting allowed for all users now?
