Company Updates

As previously announced, the marketing team has been focused on rebranding for the past months. Now we look forward to implementing the rebrand and will focus the next months on providing better communication and support with the Lisk community across online and offline platforms. For the most up to date announcements, Lisk is active on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Lisk.chat. You can also join enthusiasts on our active Lisk subreddit where we recently hosted a Reddit AMA. Keep an eye out for Lisk’s Instagram launch and expect the Lisk YouTube channel to post new video content in the coming months.

Lisk is also focused on further educating the Blockchain community as well as providing an easy entry point to individuals who are interested, but aren’t well-versed in Blockchain technology. There may even be partnerships with institutions focused on education in the works.

Events are another big priority for Lisk in order to directly engage with developers and other important stakeholders. Future Lisk Blockchain Meet-ups will be greatly improved; more news to come when we finalize the details. Looking further ahead after the SDK release, we will kick efforts into full gear with decentralized app hackathons.

New Team Additions

In order to accommodate these vast ambitions, the company is rapidly growing and has already hired new talent. Over the last two months we have added three Lisk team members to our organization.

Will Clark joined Lisk as a Fullstack Developer in July. He hails from England. Usman Khan started working remotely at Lisk as a Backend Developer in May. He has since relocated to Berlin, starting full-time on August 8th. When he isn’t busy with JavaScript, he likes to travel, trek, and read. Lindsay Buescher joined Lisk on August 3rd and will be our Marketing Manager with a focus on analytics. She has been living in Berlin for three years and enjoys going to the lake with her dog on the weekends.

Still Growing

We are actively looking for highly motivated individuals who have great interest in Blockchain technology. Lisk is building a diverse team of curious, creative people who want to find a purpose in their work and support each other in the process. We prioritize quality and take our time to make sure we find qualified candidates who fit our culture.
