June was full of productivity both on and off the ground for Lisk. Several team members traveled to important conferences — JSConf EU 2018, Tech Open Air 2018, Blockchain Expo Europe and Distribute 2018 — to spread the word of Lisk and make real connections. Back at the office, team members were also hard at work. We’re incredibly excited about last week’s release of Lisk Core 1.0.0 to Testnet and are anticipating the next big step — the release onto Mainnet! It is truly a historical time for Lisk and we’re glad we get to share with you the latest news every step of the way.

To complement this blog post, we’ve included the Lisk Vlog #4, which provides a visual recap of all the happenings at Lisk in June.

The Community Update for June will cover the following:

  • Company Update

  • We released a series of development update blog posts on the road to the Lisk Core 1.0.0 Testnet release. In case you missed any, please head to the Lisk Blog where you can find them all.
  • Last month, we announced the beginning of a new user interface journey. We have launched an initiative led by Frontend Developer Ali to create a mobile version of the Lisk app — Lisk Mobile. You can read much more about Lisk Mobile in a blog post which also includes an update on the division of responsibility over Lightcurve’s development teams and the future plans that are in store for Lisk Hub.
