We shall reserve 1,000,000 LISK (1% of the total amount) for bounties which we will distribute to everyone who supports Lisk before and during the ICO. You can support Lisk by creating more awareness within other crypto-currency communities and strengthening its brand.
Below you can find detailed information about our bounty categories and how to earn bounties. You can participate in this bounty campaign until the 9th March 2016. All bounties will be distributed 1 - 2 weeks after the mainnet goes live.
We don’t know how many users will participate in our bounty campaign. Therefore we will allocate specific amounts to each category and distribute the LISK between all participants. To give long-time supporters an increased stake, we will check through all participants on a random day every week. Every week symbolizes one stake and every user can collect one stake on every category each week.
The numbers behind every category represents the amount of the 1,000,000 LISK which we will allocate towards it.
Newsletter Subscribers — 200,000 LISK
Subscribe to our newsletter and receive weekly summaries about Lisk. Just scroll to the bottom of our website and insert your email address into the form which says “Your email”.
Facebook Likes — 100,000 LISK
Give us a Facebook like and receive constant updates about Lisk and our ICO. We co-post every blog post and important announcement to Facebook.
Update: A small mistake happened here. We corrected the Facebook bounty fund to 100,000 LISK.
Twitter Followers — 200,000 LISK
Receive a regular stream of Tweets at our official Twitter account. We will keep you updated about Lisk, our website and our services. From time to time we will also post useful tips and tricks.
Signature Campaign — 200,000 LISK
Add our official signatures from our Bitcointalk OP to your Bitcointalk profile and receive a stake every week! This way many more crypto-currency enthusiasts will get in contact with Lisk.
Update: In order to make a weekly list of all Bitcointalk users with our signature, they need to send a private message to this account (LiskHQ) at least once. Once a week we go through all the private messages and write down all usernames with our signature. If you have already posted into this Bitcointalk thread before page 41 then you don’t need to send us a PM anymore!
Translations — 300,000 LISK
Everyone who participates in translation work will receive a stake in this category. So if you see that our Bitcointalk OP wasn’t translated into your language yet, then please contact us.
Important: Next week we will release a new feature to Lisk - a multi-lingual client. More information about this will be available within the next few days. Bounties for translating our client will fall into this category as well.
Example
In order to understand our system easier we created a fictional example below.
At the end of the bounty campaign there are two people participating in the “Twitter” category.
- User A followed us on Twitter for 2 weeks, he owns 2 stakes.
- User B followed us on Twitter for 6 weeks, he owns 6 stakes.
This means there are a total of 8 stakes in this category.
- User A will receive ¼ (2/8) of the 200,000 LISK, i.e. 50,000 LISK.
- User B will receive ¾ (6/8) of the 200,000 LISK, i.e. 150,000 LISK.
