- a16z Podcast

Under the numeronym a16z is the well-known Silicon Valley venture capital fund Andreessen Horowitz. The episodes of this podcast are not strictly blockchain and crypto, but they consider technological and cultural trends.

Their blockchain and crypto podcasts cover everything from scalability to ICOs. It’s also worth listening-in to their non-blockchain related podcasts to learn more about the practical and ethical implications of emerging tech. So, we would like to recommend the following episodes: How to Manage a PR Agency, Cryptonetworks and Cities — Analogies, Decentralization and Crypto, the Big Picture, and Shifting Risk Mindsets, from Tech to Bio.

- Crypto Voices

CryptoVoice podcasts seamlessly combine education and entertainment features, and this makes listening to it easy and catchy. The focus is on Bitcoin, blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital ledger technology, and broader fintech, including all of the benefits and challenges that come with these breakthrough technologies.

Hosts of this podcast are Matthew Mežinskis, Financial Consult, and Fernando Ulrich, Head of Cryptocurrency Research at XP Investimentos.

- Epicenter

It’s one of the oldest and most popular podcasts about cryptocurrency.

Originally called Epicenter Bitcoin, the show’s focus has since broadened. Epicenter was founded and based in Berlin and go live weekly. Today, it looks at all the start-up businesses and open source projects that are using blockchains and cryptocurrencies as part of their long-term goals.

Hosted by Brian Fabian Crain, Sebastien Couture, and Meher Roy, the Epicenter crypto podcast has a back catalog of more than 250 episodes. Guests on the show come from a variety of backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, academics, and industry experts.

- Let’s talk Bitcoin

This podcast is the oldest one in the game, having been launched in 2013 by Adam B. Levine, an early adopter, and enthusiast. The popularity of the podcast grew rapidly and in 2014, and that’s when the Let’s Talk Bitcoin Network was created.

The podcast focuses exclusively on cryptocurrency and the industry surrounding it. The creation of the LTB Network came with the goal of giving influencers and experts in blockchain a platform to share their opinions and expertise. There are over 300 episodes available, providing a vast array of perspectives and insight into decentralized technology.

- Off the Chain

Off the Chain is hosted by Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano, an American entrepreneur, a well-known figure on social media, and co-founder with Morgan Creek Capital.

The podcast delves into how investors from both the digital and traditional financial systems view digital assets with some of the biggest names in crypto and Wall Street. Antony’s background and experience with investing in public pensions, endowments, foundations, and family offices on behalf of institutional investors provide for a unique merger of opinions about the crypto world.

- The Scoop Podcast

The Block’s steam, led by Frank Chaparro, draws out the freshest and deepest insights about digital assets.

Among their guests, there are a lot of representatives from traditional Wall Street, cryptocurrency industry, Fortune 500, and many other crypto ecosystem leaders. - What Bitcoin Did

The What Bitcoin Did podcast is a spin-off from Peter McCormack’s excellent blog of the same name.

The show is interview-centric. Since its launch in late-2017, Peter has interviewed some of the biggest names in crypto, including Luke Martin from Venture Coinist, trading celebrity Jameson Lopp, and crypto journalist Laura Shin.

- Unchained

Probably one of the most famous blockchain and crypto podcasts, Laura Shin has utilized her position at Forbes to bring an array of industry heavyweights to her platform, including the likes of Vitalik Buterin and Changpeng Zhao.

Her interview style is direct, and she doesn’t shy away from asking difficult questions, which is refreshing, even if I don’t always agree with her opinions. Her journalism expertise shines through as her questions are clearly well-researched and thorough, as is her desire to get clear answers for her audience.

We would recommend Unchained for anyone who’s new to the blockchain and crypto scene as a way to understand the current sentiment, stay up-to-date, and as a way to digest complex themes.
