Reasons America’s Oligarchy is Wonderful
America is now an oligarchy. Oligarchy is “government by the few, especially despotic power exercised by a small and privileged group for corrupt or selfish purposes.”
We thought the above passage describes the US Congress. Instead Britannica uses it to describe oligarchies in general. America is an oligarchy because the wealthy are getting richer and screwing everybody else.
The top 1% of Americans held $43.95 trillion in wealth in the first of quarter 2023, the Federal Reserve estimates. Conversely, the bottom 50% of Americans had $3.44 trillion in wealth in the first quarter of 2023. Yet the top 10% of Americans had $96.95 trillion in wealth in the first quarter of 2023.
Therefore, America is now an oligarchy. Those of us who don’t like building guillotines had been better get used to plutocracy. To appease our wealthy masters and delude the serfs. We shall list reasons why oligarchy is wonderful.

- Understanding that all the American Dream business is bullshit makes life far easier.
- There is no reason to work hard and be successful because you will never make any money or achieve the American dream.
