The Insanity of Modern Television Drama

Modern television drama is wonderful because it is insane. Many of today’s TV dramas are entertaining because they are complete lunacy.

For example, The Walking Dead is about walking zombies. Meanwhile, Better Call Saul is about unrestrained craziness, while Killing Eve is about two women trying to drive each other mad.

Consequently, in today’s world a good television drama needs to be totally disorganized and completely absurd. In fact, the crazier and absurd a drama is the more likely TV executives are to buy it.
