Do Authors Learn From Reviews?

Why so many don’t read them or have them screened first

Famous authors are often asked, on their barnstorming media tours, “Do you learn from your reviews?” As a critic, I wish the answer were, “Yes.”

But they don’t. Just as all athletes have physical and mental limits that affect their performance, all writers have levels of skill and intelligence…
