Lit Up

A love letter to my blanket.

A poem.

Your thick threads warm my thawing skin,
my fingers fumbling your fibers.
Your brown brawn soothing my bruises,
my heart healing in your soft haze.

I adore absorbing in awe,
the way you warm away my woes.
I delight in delicate days,
the time tucked up in tactful wool.
