Raven was the messenger of the gods, once.
His plumage could make even the handsomest peacock blush.

But jealous and mischievous,
Crow plotted and schemed.
He sent Raven to do an impossible thing.
“Fly to Sun, deliver Moon’s message.”
Raven knew well, there was no safe passage…

With his feathers charred
and his song but a caw,
Raven returned and told Crow what he saw.
“Blessed Sun, he was so pleased with me,
he granted 3 wishes and a bride to be.”

More envious than ever,
Crow flew out of sight
to visit Sun with a message from Night.

But when Crow arrived
(flames eating his feathers)
he realized too late
that the gods were cruel
and dear Raven, clever.
