My core is a hydrogen fusion factory — until the atoms run out. Then it becomes a cold cavity within me. It burns itself out to provide light and warmth for others, many who never know the source of their comfort. In the distance, I smile upon them, even with a void in my chest. I know that when my core loses its power and becomes a dead thing, a lump of nothingness in my chest, I only need to set it out in the sunlight, allow it to absorb sun rays, and it shall be recharged and ready to shine bright again.
