Dream a little Dream

A small poem about dreaming and the struggles that come with it

Dream rises before you
Just at a hand’s reach
It fills you with
happiness and purpose
Making you run after it
With hope and optimism
Moving just a step ahead
Every time you close upon it
And the very dreams
Defeat you slowly, slowly
Until it vanishes around
The corner
Leaving you staring at
An empty road
If you are brave enough
To follow the empty road
To strive and fight
Even when you feel
Blind, deaf and even dumb
It appears in front of you
Suddenly taking you by surprise
Making all your fight worth it.
Making your life worth it.
