Spooky, twisted Halloween microfiction!

Here’s all you need to know:
We want good old spooks, we want to be creeped out, we want twists, we even want evil laughs! Surprise us, write what we don’t expect to read!
Microfiction: of course, prose only
Wordcount limit: 300 words max.
When to submit: starting today until October 29th
All accepted entries will be published between October 30 and 31

The Lit Up editors will let you know through notes whether your entry has been accepted or not
Only accepted entries will be added to Lit Up
Our process: Acceptance by an editor through notes -> you add your DRAFT (please do not publish your drafts before we do, they will be rejected) to Lit Up after an editor has requested you to ->we will proofread your submission and leave editing suggestions if needed -> your story will be scheduled for publication -> all Halloween publications will take place from October 30 until October 31 (or until November 1st if we receive a high volume of submissions)
If you’re not a writer for Lit Up yet, we will add you if your story is accepted
Awards:
One story will be narrated by our staff and posted on our YouTube channel as well!
Three writers will get a free entry each for our upcoming anthology contest!
All accepted and published entries will be featured on our homepage, the prompts tab, and will be listed in the upcoming newsletter!
