So man created God in his own image — gave Him his own petty flaws and shortcomings; in His name wrote elaborate books full of rules and regulations; built temples for Him that cost thousands of other men their lives. Told men and women that God wanted them to go forth and multiply — and so they did, filling every corner of the planet, spreading like a deadly disease.
