Chuck opened the door and frowned at the unexpected visitor.
Uninvited, the hooded stranger entered, death card in hand.
They sat, Death and Chuck, discussing life … reminiscing.
In the end they shared a joint.
“Hold it in,” Death told him.
Chuck struggled, choked then suffocated.
He swirled upward, smoke-like.
Death inhaled life.
He smiled.
“Adios.”
