A Liturgy for Non-duality

i am not this, nor This
They say “i am That”
But isn’t That another This?
Not I?

i feel the universe
looking through my eyes
as it does through yours
seeing and recognizing the endless
universe behind each other’s eyes —
we are but a vessel
for the universe to see
nay to be — itself

i am I — an all I
that dreams the many i
that dreams, the this and the that
There can be no This nor That
as much as there can be an i
or a you

Only I is — dreaming
dreaming the universe into being
in all its splendor and majesty
and wild randomness of will
and of chance

Playing a forever game of dice
that always started, yet never did
always is, and still is not
and that always will be, yet never will

The illusion of the universe
lives through our eyes
like a silent passenger
And we are the dream beings
in the mind of the dreaming I

And as I Awake, i die, and i Die
And now even as i live, i Die
Dissolved joyfully into the lucidity
Of that blissful interregnum
Between Sleep and Wakefulness

i am I
i am I
i am I
