I am a creature of self-indulgence.

I care only for myself and my incessant needs.

The people I reach out for are merely a platform

Strategically placed for my amusement

For my ease of mind

And yet none of them please me.

I am a tyrannous ruler

Who sits upon a throne of my people’s suffering

And I bathe in their pain

To ease my own

Trivial emotions of lonesome emptiness.
